Cru Cellars is excited to offer a new class in our series of region-specific electives: Bordeaux! Cru Cellars Sommelier Matt Turner will take us on a tour through Bordeaux’s history, styles, and intricate terroir. We will discuss the development of the region (including the famous classification system), the wide variety of wine produced, and, of course, the important communes of the region. Ever heard of the Left and Right Banks of Bordeaux? Did you know Bordeaux makes excellent dessert wine? Come prepared to taste through a variety of red, white, and sweet wines while learning all about one of the most elite wine producing regions in the world.
